RNA methylation refers to the methylation modification phenomenon that occurs at different positions on the RNA molecule. The common methods of RNA post-transcriptional modification include m6A and m5C.
RNA methylation may play an important role in regulating gene expression, splicing, RNA editing, RNA stability, controlling mRNA lifespan and degradation, and mediating circular RNA translation.
Using MeRIP technology, it is possible to conduct a comprehensive study of the post-transcriptional methylation profile of RNA.(This kit is for scientific research purposes only)
MeRIP helps to study the chemical modification of nucleic acid and its molecular mechanism. RNA methylation affects gene expression at several levels:
1.Affect the stability of mRNA.
